# Saakuru (SKR) Token

Tokenomics, where transaction fees are the core pillar of the ecosystem, prevents the Web3 ecosystem from expansion and mass adoption ([Read more about The Problem](/saakuru-source/saakuru-blockchain/the-mission/the-problems.md)). Our on-chain economy and governance model is designed to protect the integrity of the ecosystem and the interests of Token holders while allowing transaction fee-free user experience for the chain users.

SKR token was launched on May 30th and is already traded on [CEXs and DEXs](https://saakuru.com/portal/trade)
